ABOUT US
cockatoos, wikipedia, public domain02
Snortyville has two webmasters:  J, a bird of many talents with a keen interest in computers, pop culture,  and current events; and K who likes Books, How-tos, and turtles.

Our other websites include:

We formed Snortyville in October 2006. How did our website get its name?  Most cockatoos have a repertoire of expressive sounds and vocalizations, but none more comical than the “snorty sound” made when excited, startled, or just doing a big leg-and-wing stretch. If we can ever capture this elusive noise into a sound file on this page, we will do so.

We would love to hear from you!  Send comments or questions to email04
