This novel explores the White Court of vampires, specifically Thomas’s decadent and aristocratic family who feed on humans through sex and emotional exploitation rather than by drinking their blood.
Dresden is hired by a pornographer to hunt down the origin of a curse that is striking down the women in his life. This forces Dresden to work with the film crew on a porn movie, which in turn makes him the target of merciless sarcasm from Lieutenant Murphy. Intriguing, suspenseful, well -done.
